Starting today, Oct. 23, you and all your fellow travelers can cast your ballots for your favorite hotels, destinations, cruise lines, airlines, railway journeys, and more. And, beyond getting to brag about all your favorite spots, you’ll also be entered for a chance to win $15,000, a Viking Expedition voyage for two, or one of five other cash prizes. The last year has been a momentous one for travel. An estimated 235 million people traveled internationally in just the first three months of 2023 alone, marking a 100 percent increase over the same time period in 2022. Europe and Africa received nearly the same number of travelers as they did pre-pandemic, while the Middle East saw an increase of 15 percent over its pre-pandemic tourism numbers. And we know, our loyal T+L readers had a lot to do with those fantastic statistics. Because you know this world inside and out, each year, we come to you to request your feedback on the coolest hotels, spas, cities, islands, cruise lines, airlines, and more, sharing your new hot spots and giving love to old favorites. We’re also asking you to once again vote with our newest categories: train trips around the world and villa rental companies. Hundreds of thousands of you respond every year, making T+L’s World’s Best Awards the industry leader. Your ratings help define excellence in travel and guide fellow travelers to the best of the best. The 2024 results will be published in the August issue of T+L and online at travelandleisure.com. The survey will be live until Feb. 27, 2024, giving you just over four months to vote. We know you’re likely familiar with the awards, but it never hurts to get a quick refresher before voting begins.
