Front Desk Leatherwork

The Joseph's front desk is embellished with a hand-tooled, custom-designed leather panel created by renowned bootmaker, Lucchese. A closer look at the design reveals the story of a Monarch butterfly, as it migrates north through the homes of Lucchese (Texas), The Joseph (Tennessee), and owners of the hotel, the Pizzutis (Ohio). Each state is represented in the design by its state flower or tree, creating a symbolic tribute to "Home" and a warm welcome to guests.
